Lucie Kordacova & Miroslava Vecerova: Arid Landscapes and Ancient Waters
〰️ RESIDENCY AT GLOAM 〰️
Arid Landscapes and Ancient Waters: Lucie Kordacova & Miroslava – Vecerova
Arid Landscapes and Ancient Waters is a short residency hosted by GLOAM Gallery from February 2–9. The residency program will delve into the themes of dried land in the UK, specifically areas that were once submerged beneath water and subsequently transformed through human intervention. This mini residency will serve as a platform for the two artists to explore the unique landscape, its history, and the rich stories surrounding it. The focus will extend to the intriguing presence of animals, particularly sea mammals, and the storytelling and myth around these creatures and their connection to humans.
Residency: February 2–9, 2024.
The gallery will be closed to public but if you wish to talk to artists, please feel free to get in touch with them:
